The organisation is run by a voluntary Management Committee and employs fully trained professional staff in each office. The organisation prides itself on good fiscal management and quality services to assist tenants.

Our organisation has been operating as Near North Housing Service Inc since 1991 and was originally established in 1987.

All services are provided free of charge by fully trained staff. Our main activity is providing tenancy advice and advocacy services to residential tenants.

Our services are aimed at assisting private rental tenants, public housing tenants and future tenants and members of the general community.

We do not provide advice to lessors, agents or property owners, however our staff are happy to provide contact numbers for appropriate agencies who are able to assist lessors, agents and property owners.
